Our story begins with William “Bill” Jasiunas, a World War II pilot who returned home to Connecticut and dedicated his life to the fire protection trade. After serving his country, Bill became a sprinkler fitter and played a major role in building and advancing the fire protection industry across the state, including the installation of fire hydrants. Bill passed his knowledge and values on to his son, Vinny Jasunas, who carried forward his father’s passion as a respected sprinkler fitter. Vinny not only mastered the trade but also taught it to his two sons, ensuring the Jasunas family tradition would continue into the next generation. Today, that tradition lives on through Robert Jasunas and his brother, who proudly represent the third generation of sprinkler fitters in the family. With nearly a century of combined family experience, American Fire Protection LLC continues the mission that Bill began decades ago. Three Generations. Nearly 100 Years.
